Easter Vase

My mom had this idea to make an Easter Vase with jellybeans and bunny peeps that she had seen a friend make.  We searched on Pinterest and found a couple of what we were looking for and pulled from them to make what we thought would be the cutest.  And this is what we came up with!

Cute right?  It was pretty easy until the jelly beans snuck under the Styrofoam blocks we had put in the middle when we were putting the flowers in the top which made it lift and then you could see the foam which was not ideal.  So we had to start over.  So it took a little longer than expected, but if you do it right the first time, you'll be good to go!

Here's what you need:

Jellybeans (we took out the black ones)
Bunny Peeps
Styrofoam blocks
Fake flowers (we used white, pink, purple, and yellow)
Vase
Skewers

All you have to do is put the Styrofoam blocks in the middle of the vase first, then put the jellybeans around the Styrofoam so you can't see it on the outside.  Then place the peeps on the jellybeans so they make a full circle on the inside of the vase.  Then arrange the flowers how you want them by poking them in the Styrofoam.  Then place a few peeps on skewers and place them throughout the flower arrangement.  And you're done!  So easy and super cute!

  1. This is such a cute idea! Too bad I would probably eat more jelly beans then actually made it into the vase

  2. Stopping by to welcome you to voiceboks...
I did something similar at Halloween except with candy corn and a large candle. Cute but the candy corn tasted just awful by the time I let the kids dig in. :0
I like your idea much better. ;)

    1. Luckily my daughter only wanted the jelly beans when I was making it, but my sister has been snacking on them at my mom's house. ;-)
